Our Mission

One Step Closer exists to make Islamic knowledge accessible, engaging, and practical for the modern Muslim. We are not a fatwa body, not a madrasa, and not a replacement for scholars — we are a bridge. A starting point. A reminder that the journey to Allah begins with a single step.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "Whoever travels a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Jannah." (Muslim)

Everything on this platform is free. It will always be free. Knowledge is a trust — it is not ours to sell.

Who We Are

We are students of knowledge — formally trained in different fields, informally in love with the Deen. We are not muftis. We are people who read, reflect, and write — and invite you to do the same.

Every piece of content is reviewed for accuracy before publishing. Where we are uncertain, we say so. Where we make mistakes, we correct them.
